Coverage: The coverage calculations are done after considering a 6 mm of grouting spacing for flooring and wall tiles unless otherwise specified. For wall tiles, a grouting space of 4 mm is considered unless otherwise specified.
Water Absorption: Our tiles absorb 12-14% of water calculated with dry weight as base. This is much superior to the IS specification of 16%.
Flexural Strength: 12.5 N/mm2 with base width 200mm. 14 N/mm2 with base width 150mm.
Laying instructions: Care must be taken while laying the products to ensure best usage. Please contact us for laying and care instructions.
Chemical Resistance: As our tiles are not glazed, they do not have any resistance to chemicals.
Freezing Temperatures: Our tiles are not tested for very low, near freezing or sub-zero temperatures.
Color Variations: Due to the nature of the product and process variations, the tiles will have slight variations in color. It is recommended to sort the tiles before laying to accommodate for variations.
Efflorescence: Care must be taken to ensure that there is no significant flow of water through the tile to prevent Efflorescence. Use of good quality tile adhesives, tile grouts and protective sealers necessary for best performance.
